VOLUNTEER AT STONEWALL YOUTH

Volunteers make Stonewall Youth’s world go around!  There are many ways for you to engage in mutually inspiring service with awesome LGBTQ+ youth.  You can work directly with youth during drop-ins, Support Group, and field trips. You could assist youth to organize dances and other social activities. Perhaps you have a skill or passion you would like to share with youth via a workshop.

You could also help out with the many “backstage” tasks needed to keep our programs running well such as baking for bakesales, cleaning and maintenance, assisting with bookkeeping or data entry, etc.

Interested volunteers can team up with staff and Board members our Fabulous Fundraising Force (FFF). The FFF organizes community outreach and fundraising projects. Projects include big and small fundraising events (from our annual events to our periodic bake sales), doing outreach at local events, seeking donations from community members, grant-writing, and a whole lot more. Lend us your skills and learn about fundraising with us!

We provide extensive volunteer training and will help you tailor a volunteer experience that works for you. We appreciate folks with a strong social justice analysis who want to continue to build these skills with us. We value leadership in the many different forms it may take.

Interested? Please fill out our Volunteer Application. For more information, feel free to contact our volunteer coordinator via email (pat@stonewallyouth.org) at anytime.
