Your gifts support LGBTQ+ youth to survive, thrive, and lead.
Support LGBTQ+ youth empowerment
You can be a part of sustaining a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ youth to lead, learn, talk about their experiences, make friends, build leadership and professional skills, learn about and fight for social justice, make art and music, build community, gain the support, referrals, advocacy skills, mentorship and confidence needs to successfully navigate the struggles they face.
Support youth to survive, thrive, and build sustainable lives. Support Groups and related activities foster resiliency, pride, self-advocacy, and self-care. Youth work with peers and adult mentors to address the obstacles they face. Art, music, writing and other programs engage youth in healing trauma through creative expression.
Sustain youth leadership and professional development through staff positions, Fellowships, internships, leadership programs, and Board membership. Stonewall Youth is youth-led and is committed to empowering youth to lead by providing the training, resources, and support necessary for youth to maximize their leadership within Stonewall Youth and in their communities.
Encourage life-long learning: We build a community of growth, mentorship and learning. Youth gain support for their educational goals. We learn together about many critical topics, from street survival to college financial aid and dismantling oppression. We educate schools, agencies, and our communities through trainings and other events.
Work for positive social change. Along with educating youth and our communities about social justice, Stonewall Youth collaborate with local and statewide organizations to make crucial changes in state, local, and school policies that discriminate against or otherwise harm LGBTQ+ people and intersecting communities.

Gender Affirming Clothing Closet
In collaboration with South Puget Sound Community College’s Rainbow Alliance we maintain a size inclusive, gender affirming clothing closet located at Stonewall Youth. Our clothing closet is mostly supported by community donations! Here are a few criteria if you’d like to donate:
The Clothing Closet takes a myriad of donations whether it be: clothes, gender affirming items, shoes, accessories, bags, socks, or jewelry.
We cannot accept underwear, Underworks binders, garments that glorify substance use, display oppressive or offensive text or images, and garments that need to be mended or repaired.
Please wash your donation or let us know if your donation needs to be washed.
The Clothing Closet is stocked by season. If you’d like to donate in the summer, please try to donate clothes that can be comfortably worn in warm weather. If you’d like to donate in the winter, please try to donate clothes that will keep folks warm and dry.
We ask that if you’d like to donate to the Clothing Closet, that you contact Stonewall Youth so that one of our staff can accept your donation by appointment. We also ask, at the time of your appointment, that you stay for the duration of your donation. Thank you.

Help Us Rise With An Elevator
Stonewall Youth bought our building in 2018. We use the 1st floor, which is ADA accessible, for our activities. Now we’re ready to renovate the second floor so it will be accessible as well. It is unjust that so many places in our community aren’t accessible to all members of our community. YOU can help us in our quest to install an elevator and make other needed improvements!
