Be HERE & QUEER at Stonewall Youth During Olympia Pride
We're hosting SO MANY events during Oly Pride in June 16 & 17!
FRIDAY 6/16 @ 4-8pm: All LGBTQ+ youth ages 21 and under are welcome to join us for our regular DROP-INS. Also on Friday, you may see us out and about during Pride activities registering people to vote and distributing information about queer & trans justice as well as the anti-trans initiatives.
SATURDAY 6/17: Noon-5:30pm: OPEN HOUSE for all LGBTQ+ folks and respectful allies, particularly QTPOC and youth. It'll be kid-friendly. We’ll have board games, art projects (like painting a mural!), live music, and other activities. Or just hang out and read in our library for a while.
Our goal is to create a safer, relaxing, and queer-centered space during all the Pride activities. Youth and QTPOC will be centered. WE INVITE FOLKS TO BRING SOME SNACKS TO SHARE. We’ll provide some food, and will also have a bakesale!
SATURDAY at 6:30pm -10:30pm: DANCE DANCE DANCE for LGBTQ+ youth 21 & under. This year's theme is Time Travel! It's free.
On Saturday, you’re also welcome to stop by our booth at the Pride Festival from 1-6pm. We aren’t participating in the spectacle that is the Pride Parade; instead, we’ll be offering parade spectators baked goods, cold beverages, and the opportunity to register to vote. Keep an eye out for us!
WHERE IT'S ALL HAPPENING: Unless otherwise noted, all events take place at our fabulous new HQ in downtown Olympia near the Transit Station at 112 State Ave NE.
