We have worked hard to restructure our Fellowships to make them even greater!  Fellowships are a great way to get involved in Stonewall Youth and to get paid a monthly stipend for a project you’re passionate about.  Fellowships are open to LGBTQ+ youth up to age 22 who want to work with us to design and implement a project.  We can help you every step of the way!  Applications are due by October 3rd!

A Fellowship might be a good choice for you if there are activities you want to see at Stonewall Youth, skills you want to teach others, events you want to help organize (such as dances, Open Mics, and educational events), administrative duties you want to learn and assist with, or anything relating to Stonewall Youth you want to get involved in.  Fellowships are long-term (quarterly or longer) proposals you contract with Stonewall Youth to create.

Fellowships can be almost anything including, but not limited to, support group, outreach, music programming, fundraising, event planning, social media, and administrative. If it is a project you are passionate about and that will benefit the space, we would love to know about it and assist you in creating your vision! Fellowships are 3 hours of work/week but can be more if you desire. Past fellowships have included contracting to deep clean the space weekly, leading a workshop series on job readiness skills, assisting in the creation of a protest against “anti-transgender bathroom bills”, and creating a choir during our music Tuesday programming.

The Bowl-O-Rama is Stonewall Youth’s annual fundraising extravaganza ending with a family-friendly celebration at the bowling alley! There will be COSTUMES, amazing PRIZES, and of course BOWLING!  For weeks leading up to the bowling celebration, fans of Stonewall Youth will compete in a friendly competition to raise money and help us reach our goal of $8,000 for LGBTQ+ youth programs.
JOIN A TEAM or CREATE A TEAM for the best bowl-o-rama ever! Teams of 5 people do their very best to raise at least $500 ($100 per person) before the Bowl-O-Rama on October 27th. For example, each person can ask 10 people for $10, or 20 people for $5 donations! You can raise money online using our Fundly site at fundly.com/2018-bowl-o-rama, or in whatever way works best for you. We provide all kinds of info and assistance.  Teams can create a team theme, name, and show up for the event decked out in costumes (costumes and bowling not required!). You’re also welcome to just attend the event on October 27 for an entrance fee of $15-$40.

DON’T LIVE IN OLYMPIA or CAN’T ATTEND THE EVENT? No problem! You can make a CYBER TEAM and still be eligible for certain prizes! Or you can be a BOWLING BUDDY and support a team (or all the teams!) by making a DONATION at fundly.com/2018-bowl-o-rama

TEAM LEADERS ARE WHAT WE NEED MOST RIGHT NOW, so step up to the lane! We make it as easy as possible for you to via our online tools and packet of materials.  If you’re interested in joining a team or creating a team, send a quick note to bryn@stonewallyouth.org We’ll set you up with everything you need!

We’re trying to build a solid selection of supplies for youth that don’t have any/are unable to purchase them before the trip.
We are also looking for volunteers! Drivers especially. Please let us know as soon as possible if you’re interested in volunteering during our camping trip. Being a driver isn’t a necessity but would be greatly appreciated.
